Does anyone know or deal with an eBay seller "hyper-cafe"?

I bought something from this seller and left him a positive feedback, he truned around and left me a nasty feedback.

His reason was I didn't put all 5 stars on his services, s/h, etc on him when I was giving him the positive feedback.

How rude is this seller!! :steamed: :steamed:

This seller has a Bidder Acknowledgement stated as below:

"Feedback: Seller will leave feedback after received buyer's feedback. If buyer reduced feedback rating including detail rating, seller will reduce feedback rating. Seller recommneds all buyers not to use detail rating to avoid mis-rating for specially for your carrier's rate and service."

"if we found any troubles or not very happy, we will block further bidding. No exception."

Now, that's hilarious!

Customer's happiness is obligatory ...or else...

Kind of Stalinist policy of the happiness.

I've very often been rated lower (4-3 stars) especially by US buyers for slow shipping, which takes usually 2 weeks, because of the Customs bureaucracy, while shipping to Europe or Asia takes 5-6 days.

Should I leave the negative feedbacks for that???

I had a buyer who paid global priority rate and i shipped Air Express ( cost more than double ) and i gave him a positive feeback.............

guess what ? I didn't get any feedback.

May be i should be grateful i didn't get a negative for not gift wrapping it ( as Ole Po does )

Firstly, I would notify eBay with any proof that he neg'd you for not leaving 5 stars. Make a big complaint.

Then, you can leave a second note on his feedback too. So go nail him there. Even though it will show positive feedback, you can leave a note saying "This seller gives negative feedback if you don't give him 5 stars. Beware, and avoid him" or something like that.

Don't let him get away with it.

It's not possible to tell what individual people have rated you, as far as I can tell? The OP has left him a good comment

I think another board member had a bad experience with "hyper-cafe" not so long back..guess he's someone to avoid. He seems to have something against the French too, from his terms and conditions:

Please read each ad statement which all bidder must agreed on, specially for non-English bidders, such as French

It looks like he's just re-selling stuff from Namikawa. Your much better off dealing with Namikawa directly instead of this nutter.

That just sucks Tony, but at least there is a clue to his madness.

hyper

1. Having a very excitable or nervous temperament; high-strung.

2. Emotionally stimulated or overexcited.

1. Over; above; beyond: hyperflexion.

2. Excessive; excessively: hyperhydration.

I once bought from a bad Ebay seller with a email address starting with slick, i bought a tanto from him, he had a return policy posted, but when i asked for a refund less shipping no less because it was not near the shape he said it was in, he told me if i left him negative feedback he would come to my door and he is 3000 miles from me, so in the future i will take in account ones email address and names as well. BTW on Ebay having a return policy listed doesn't mean a thing i am sorry to say.

Forgive me for bringing up an old thread, but I was just leaving feedback on good ol' eBay, and was informed (by a rather intrusive notice) that changes have been made to the effect that sellers are no longer able to leave negative or neutral feedback, nor can they see how individuals have rated their services. Is this new since the incident initially discussed here? Was it, perhaps, brought about due to this incident? That would be quite the achievement, if so. ;)

That's simply great - takes a lot of pressure from non-paying bidders ...

Would'nt it be simpler to invite them politely to take a refresher course on the shores of the Aegean sea ...

they must have done a major overhaul...i just go like forty more + feedback...and now at 100%....that one first neg that keep me at 99.8% for years is gone. Ebay will go by the wayside soon if you cant neg a buyer.

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one, unless your post is really relevant and adds to the topic..
