it looks like a ebay fake- The colour of the rust. The chisel strokes. The characters is wrong. The fittings also looks cheap.

Tom, please stop looking at these crappy Chinese fakes!

 

Here's a link to a dealer in the UK who has very reasonably priced gunto and some slightly better quality pieces.

It's not the upper end of the market but it's all genuine Japanese and a good place to start!

 

Well done for still asking for opinions before you buy.....it's definitely the best approach.
