Let me say "sorry" up-front as I knew of no where else to put this question....I'm attending the sword show in Tampa and am wondering what is considered "polite" or appropriate dress for the day. Being prior Military, I always worry about this type of thing....I'm guessing maybe "business casual"?

Again, sorry, but am making every attempt not to look like an idiot on the first go-round :D .

if you just wear cloths you will fit in fine. most wear what they are comfortable with, jeans etc, a few may wear dress cloths but they are in the mimority, one deal was known to always wear a suit and tie, but he is no longer with us. Just come as you are! we are happy to welcome anyone interested in swords (as long as you are wearing something)

see you there

Hey Mark I am not nit-picking here, but, "if you just wear cloths you will fit in fine" struck me in the funny bone. I know you mean clothes, 'cloths' made me think Apache or Ghandhi-ji running around wearing loin-cloths. It certainly would liven up the place, eh? John

Curtis -- jeans and tee or shirt are fine. It's a relaxed enviornment.

PS: Thanks so much fellas -- I will not sleep tonight as I now have this image stuck in my head of Kirkpatrick roaming around in a Gandhi loincloth...
