Stephen Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 really like the dragon tsuba ...when i seen the fuchi at first i thought it may have been a repo...but the carving is well done, does it have a gold wash on it? Quote
Bungo Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 the tsuba is ok but the fuchi looks very good. Could it be one of those solid gold Goto thingie ? Milt THE ronin Quote
DARREN Posted September 10, 2006 Author Report Posted September 10, 2006 The fuchi is complete metal and looks to have been formed from a solid block.I'm at your mercy again gents all yours............................. The carving like you say is rather striking and compliments the Tsuba beautifully I think. The Saya is a very nice orange and brown polished rayskin........ Great to hear your opinions! Quote
Stephen Posted September 10, 2006 Report Posted September 10, 2006 looks like gold plate...others will correct me ... the tsuba looks much better with out the flash...nice patina...rich color...the whole set up is a very nice first sword...some wait years before they make a find like that. Good show id say mate! Quote
