does anyone have the names of the Hon'ami family of appraisers and when they worked? I have a sword appraisal with one of the Hon'ami kaki-han?? I was told it was Hon'ami Kassan ( don't know spelling ) . Is this correct and if so, when did he work? Rich Nardi

Brian, thank you for your response and the link. Based on several examples og Hon'ami Koson symbol or stamp, my saygaki was done earlier and by another Hon'ami. I do not have access to the saya right now, but when I return home in s few weeks, I'll send a picture of it. Rich Nardi
