How to delete my post?

Sometimes I would really like to delete my post, not just its contents. This applies especially to the sales section, where I can have frequent updates, which become obsolete and clutter the thread. Any chance of deleting my posts?

I understand that there is a general setting which prevents users from deleting their posts. It is easy to understand and keeps people from truncating threads. I appreciate the admins' kind help, but this is not so important as to take up your time with it :-) I will stick to editing my posts to a near blank stage.
