leo Posted November 22, 2011 Report Posted November 22, 2011 Hi, all! I have followed Grey Doffins suggestion and extracted separate indices for a few Japanese sword books. Any member interested can pm me and i´ll mail the package as a .pdf file. These are presently available: Shinto Taikan Shinshinto Taikan Nihonto Zuikan Shinto Hen Zuikan Tomei Soran Nihon Koto Meisaku Shu(Jukken) Shinto Shu Katana No Gimei Osafune Choshi Token Hen ...more to follow Dirk (Zanshin) has extracted a Bizen Den Taikan Index which he posted on this board a while ago. Also Richard Stein has a few useful indices on his site. Best Martin Quote
Brian Posted November 23, 2011 Report Posted November 23, 2011 Good work Martin. Not to put you on the spot...but if you would like them added to the articles section here with a credit, let me know Brian Quote
leo Posted November 23, 2011 Author Report Posted November 23, 2011 Thank you, Brian. Its nice to have credit in these dark times! Quote
leo Posted November 30, 2011 Author Report Posted November 30, 2011 Hi, Folks! Here is another extraction from Grey´s monumental JSL Index for those interested: "Nihonto Jiten" by Dr. Tokuno This is an inexpensive and helpful alternative for the Toko Taikan. It does not carry as many oshigata, but you do not need a microscope to read them! To those fellow members who contacted me on the previous indices, I`ll send new ones automatically. Anybody else interested, feel free to send me a mail. It´s in the memberlist. , Martin Quote
Brian Posted December 1, 2011 Report Posted December 1, 2011 All, Martin has been very kind enough to forward them all to me, and when I have a chance this weekend, I will upload them to the articles section too. Thanks Martin, great work! Brian Quote
John A Stuart Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012 Please give us your name on your post. Welcome aboard. Check the articles section. John Quote
Brian Posted February 5, 2012 Report Posted February 5, 2012 Real name "Tokyohot"?? Sorry, but please change that in your profile, and also note that these are just the indexes to the books, not the books themselves. You aren't getting free books here. Brian Quote
leo Posted June 24, 2012 Author Report Posted June 24, 2012 Hi, Folks! I completed another index: Fujishiro´s Nihon Toko Jiten, Koto Hen+ Shinto Hen, 36 pages. I am aware that others have done it before, but I wanted to make my own. It grants quick access to the original page numbers without having to go through the translation index first. If you pm me your e-mail address, I will mail it back as .pdf attachment. If anyone comes upon an error in one of these indexes, please let me know, so I can correct it. Best, Martin Quote
