having limited experience i've never come across something like that - is it normal to have the signature of the owner (??) on papers in the US? and what is the origin of this origami please?

It is normal, that the name of the person who submitted an item to shinsa, is put down in the paper, but for privacy the name of the former owner is usually covered, when the paper is shown publicly!

Often when the sword is sold on, the name of the former owner is erased or blotted out.

i've seen a lot of cetificates issued by "majors")) - NBTHK/NTHK - plus some smaller groups/individuals but have never seen one with the owner's name and this stamp in the lower right corner. since it is now mine should i write down VLAD on top? :D :D :D

The label bottom right is just their proof that it has gone through the process of Shinsa, labelled and stamped and dated.
