micko Posted September 18, 2011 Report Posted September 18, 2011 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Boys-DAISHO-kat ... 2eb7e7712e seems a little suspect,what do you think? Quote
cabowen Posted September 18, 2011 Report Posted September 18, 2011 Seems someone posted the wrong photos..... Quote
lbkmd43 Posted September 18, 2011 Report Posted September 18, 2011 Dont understand question photo shows a relly nice katana what seems to be the problem L.KanarekMD Quote
Thylacine Posted September 18, 2011 Report Posted September 18, 2011 Aside from the text not matching the image the seller has a mix of items and no sales history and it seems no reserve on his items or start price. I think micko has a right to be a bit sus. Quote
Brian Posted September 18, 2011 Report Posted September 18, 2011 Yes..I think it is fraud. I saw the pair of swords yesterday that this description belonged to. This isn't it. Also, based on the email in the description....the seller has stolen a description from this seller: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 0241349353 Emailed him the link. Brian Quote

Brian Posted September 18, 2011 Report Posted September 18, 2011 The right pictures....but still fraud by another fake seller id. Still using Takayamablack email address. I guess they keep settng up fake auctions using new fraudulent id's. Brian Quote

Koto Posted September 19, 2011 Report Posted September 19, 2011 He steals photos from a sold item no. 130554076618 And he steals the description from this listing http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Boys-DAISHO-kata ... 0222300310 Then put the two together. Definite a fraud! Quote
Brian Posted September 19, 2011 Report Posted September 19, 2011 Based on the current price, I am assuming someone is making sure no real bidder wins this Brian Quote

Anthony416 Posted September 19, 2011 Report Posted September 19, 2011 Hi guys, I have been following this with interest. How do these sellers continiue to maintain their good feedback? From other sales from this seller (I assume that the last link is to the seller that is suspect) someone paid over $5,000 for a sword and was happy.............whats is going on here or did I click thru to the genuine seller? Cheers Anthony Quote

Anthony416 Posted September 20, 2011 Report Posted September 20, 2011 Now I see the situation, yes the guy selling with zero feedback is definately dogey.........it seems there may have been genuine bidders to about $175 then his mates took over to try and suckker others in.............. thanks for clearing that up, Anthony Quote
