I tried to translate the Mei of the blade because it seems very easy, but no luck.

For me the second Kanji looks like Michi (but I am quite sure that I am wrong, but also Tsune and Tada do not fit - to less strokes :dunno: ). And the first Kanji is absolutely mysterious for me (maybe Yoshi) :oops:

I think you did ok with Yoshimichi 吉道 as the smith name

 

Fuller has a listing of a Yoshimichi ( Komatsu? Yoshimichi)
