I am very interested in studying Yagyu designs. Was the Yagyu family book of designs ever made available to the public? I only have examples of a dozen variations (pictures), but I have read there are 159 designs considered first period. I would like to see them all. Any suggestions?

There is an Owari Den tsuba book (aka. Big Blue Book) that has the silhouette drawing of 39 or 40 Yagyu tsuba design.

There is also the Japanese Swords in European Collections (written in German and English) that has a section showing a number of good Yagyu tsuba.

that there may only be one Yagyu book in exsistance, at the NBTHK, and there are various copies of the sketches about the place. I have been informed that the NBTHK US book has one or two sketches to go along with the photos of the tsuba they represent. There is still nop word on a release dat yet, a draft was at the SF show.
