Hi I got this sword from Scotland don't know much about it thought it was a wwII gunto but not sure there are no stamps or signatures I cleaned the surface rust with nonabrasive cleaners

but left the tang alone

the habaki is cooper and won't slide out the seppas are 1 cooper 1 steel I think and there is also a leather one

the hand guard is brass

 

any info will help....
