New section created...The Izakaya

For those logged in, you will see a new section at the bottom of the forum called "The Izakaya"

Those that are not members or are not logged in, will not see it, as this is a members only section.

To quote from the intro thread there:

An Izakaya is a Japanese informal bar/restaurant where people go to chill out, relax and socialize.

The Izakaya here at the NMB is a new section where we will allow general chat about anything not related to Nihonto. Basically a social type discussion where anything off topic can be chatted about and the guys can hang out and discuss anything going on or interesting within the usual limits of politeness and civil behavior. Most forums have them nowdays, and it will hopefully be a nice place to be able to move anything that is off topic and doesn't fit in with Nihonto. Usual rules will apply..no rudeness etc etc. and the moderators will not hesitate to take action if people try and use it as a place to argue.

This section was suggested by Ford a long time ago, when we discussed how forums nowdays are more than just educational, but are becoming social places where the members get some kind of friendship developing and spend a lot of their time there.

Hopefully, people will give it a try and use it as a social place and an area to make new friends or just discuss the world in general.

I hope people find this either useful, fun or both. Let's see what is on your mind, and what is going on out there in the world.
