patrick7813 Posted January 31, 2011 Report Posted January 31, 2011 Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum and have been collecting gunto for about 5 years. I have a tang signature I'm having great difficulty translating (see pics). The tang also has a Showa stamp applied which isn't visible in the pictures. I've attached 2 picstures, one is a normal photo quality and the other is a negative of that picture. I applied chalk to the signature in an attempt to highlight it before taking the pictures but the results were disappointing. I hope someone can read and translate the signature. Thanks for any help. Jamie Posted February 1, 2011 Report Posted February 1, 2011 Hi patrick and welcome, You might try orienting your pics this way in the future, so they are readable. Quote
patrick7813 Posted February 1, 2011 Author Report Posted February 1, 2011 Yes, I should have known to do that. Cheers.... Quote
