SwordGuyJoe Posted January 12, 2011 Report Posted January 12, 2011 There is a photo of this smiths mei on Dr. Stein's site: http://home.earthlink.net/~ttstein/naotane.jpg He is listed as a seki sword smith on his site as well: http://home.earthlink.net/~ttstein/seki.htm I checked "Modern Japanese Swords and Swordsmiths and cannot find a teacher, but this isn't surprising given the number of seki tosho that were active during the war.
