TAIOSON Posted February 3, 2007 Report Posted February 3, 2007 After removing the fuchi from the tsuka I noticed a mei(?). Can anyone translate this? Thanks once again all. Quote
Nobody Posted February 25, 2007 Report Posted February 25, 2007 Hi, By guesswork, I tried to read. Ihachi on the right column might be a given name. On the left column, Kido could be a family name, though I cannot identify those kanji with confidence. I am absolutely unsure about the last two characters on the left column. FYI, the characters in blue color are the same kanji for 作喜戸 in sosho style. Quote
TAIOSON Posted February 25, 2007 Author Report Posted February 25, 2007 Moriyama san, once again I am in your debt. Thank you very much for looking at this for me. I was hoping the inscription said that the finder would get an all expenses paid trip to Japan. Oh well, I can dream. Thanks again for your help. Quote
