somehow this tsuba doesn't feel like a " Mito " to me ......assuming it's not a Mito ( but most likely it is ), what other alternative schools could it be ?

It is bound with a shakudo rim, the hawk is some sort of dark brownish copper, the rabbit is silver/alloy metal, on ishime iron ground.

Hello Milt,

I am the fly fishing partner of Jean.

I come back on this old post of this hawk tsuba.

I have one looking alike in the composition. Mine is signed by a MASAYOSHI, a tsubako from AIZU SHOAMI. MITO and AIZU SHOAMI are very near from each other, so it might be from that school.
