New shipping regulations has anyone heard about this?

I really hope these restrictions are very temporary, really need them to be over by the end of December.

Reason?.. the prize draw. There are a significant amount of prizes coming from outside the USA, many of which might be won by USA members. This could cause havoc for the draw, and my nerves. :?

Also..I really feel sorry for the kids waiting for presents from relatives outside the USA. No ways they are going to get them in time for Xmas with the current sitation

Last time I hear from some relatives abroad, they were much more attracted by Cash, even the parents .... :?

Does anyone know if Fed Ex or UPS into the US is a viable option. John offered to serve as an intermediary, but before I do that, I wonder if the non-USPS/EMS are options?

May I suggest, instead of relying on second hand information, we all check with our respective Post offices.

The nice message I got today from someone who is trying to ship me an item ( armor not nihonto ) from Japan.

 

 

went to postoffice.

But I can’t send the items by EMS, because U.S.A. refuses EMS for counterterrorism.

Can I send by surface mail? It takes around 2months.
