I am going to sell my Japanese woodblock print collection, could any member recomend a good forum/site.

Hi,

 

I hate to say this, but you might be quite successful using eBay. Especially musha-e are fetching high prices, and so do prints by Yoshitoshi (100 aspects etc. in particular).

The disadvantage of ebay of course is that it is not free to list items for sale, whereas forums generally are. Twitter and Facebook are also littered with people peddling their various wares on a free listing basis. If you are serious about selling a number of items, why not just put them in the hands of an auction house? After all, that's what they are there for. :D

After many years of watching auction rings at work and Auctions in general, they rate close to politicians & Bankers... :doubt:

Ceased useing ebay around four years ago, chap in Spain has both my Shunga prints & and my money,thanks paypal.... :x

Hmmmmm .....After many years of watching some dealers at work I could make the same observation :D .

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one, unless your post is really relevant and adds to the topic..
