chuck Posted September 14, 2010 Report Posted September 14, 2010 I'm considering buying a tsuba from tsuba-no-bi.com, but I thought I'd check with you guys first to see if anyone here has had any experience with them, good or bad. Their tsuba seem to be too good to be true, almost. I just want to be sure about them before I send them a lot of money. Thanks! peace. Quote
docliss Posted September 14, 2010 Report Posted September 14, 2010 I have recently purchased a tsuba from that site, and cannot praise it highly enough. The tsuba was better than expected, arrived promptly, and was beautifully packed. To his credit , the vendor also includes surface postage in his stated charges. John L. Quote
Marc BROQUIN Posted September 14, 2010 Report Posted September 14, 2010 Hello Chuck, A lot of those tsuba are issued from Georgio Di Nepi's collection. And when you Know Giorgio as I know him, there is surely a good reason he has sold them. Look at the " Yagyu" which is a copy of but not a Yagyu. So consider quietly and calmly and share your questions for your future buy, this guy seems not to be a real expert. Best Marc Quote
Alan Morton Posted September 15, 2010 Report Posted September 15, 2010 Hi Chuck, I have bought about six tsuba from this site at very reasonable prices all arrived safe and sound even though one lot took several months to get to Australia by ship. All in all I was very happy with what I got. Alan. Quote
