And the following is what I think I have so far 於x x山麓 ni oite ? ? yama no fumoto so the sword was made at foot of some mountain 源宗光作之 minamoto Munemitsu saku kore wo Does anyone know anything about this smith or can anyone read the name of the mountain. cabowen Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 There is a Aobasan Koen (park) near Kyoto and a Aobasan in Miyagi Prefecture -Sendai City...maybe others.... There was a Munemitsu working during the war in Yamagata ken, which is next to Miyagi ken.... Quote
