Hs132 Posted August 18, 2010 Report Posted August 18, 2010 Gereetings, today bought grouping from another collection. All in tip top condition. Having abit of trouble with the Army translation. All comments greatly appreciated. Best, Bill Bourque Quote
Weidas Posted August 19, 2010 Report Posted August 19, 2010 looks nice grouping. The first three NCO's looks like Tokyo arsenal. What about the 4th? Tokyo? What about producers? Kai gunto - nihonto or arsenal blade? Quote
george trotter Posted August 19, 2010 Report Posted August 19, 2010 Bill, This reads RHS "Fujiwara Kanenaga".... this is possibly Kawamura Kanenaga of Gifu. LHS..."Fu? Sabi Hagane Saku" (I think)..made of anti rust steel. He was a good maker, He often called himself "Nara Taro", but this blade, being made of a form of stainless steel should be considered a military sword (gunto), not traditionally made. What are the details of the other Navy officer's sword? Regards, George. Quote
