Jérôme Posted August 5, 2010 Report Posted August 5, 2010 Hi Greenkayaks, It's shinto périod (approximatly 350 years). Yes Surfson it's Echigo no kami Kanesada. For me the mei is good but I'm not a expert. Do you see the hamon? Jérôme Quote
Jacques Posted August 5, 2010 Report Posted August 5, 2010 Hi, Mei reads Echigo no kami Kanesada 越後守貞. If it is the nidai and if it is shoshin, you are very lucky, Echigo no kami Kanesada nidai (who also signed Sakakura Gonnoshin Terukane 坂倉言之進照包 is a big name, rated jojo saku. However the shodai is not a bad one rated Jo saku. Quote
Jean Posted August 5, 2010 Report Posted August 5, 2010 Jerôme, Don't be shy and call Surfson : Robert or Bob or Bobby (if you are intimate), it is friendlier and we are not in a cloak and dagger novel, though sometimes... Greenkayaks : Before someone else makes the remark, could you please sign, according the Board rules, either by : - First name - Family name - Pen name All your posts Thanks in advance Quote
Greenkayaks Posted August 6, 2010 Author Report Posted August 6, 2010 Sorry for the missing signature, fixed. I dont see the hamon? Peace Jamie Johnson The Outhouse Man Quote
reinhard Posted August 7, 2010 Report Posted August 7, 2010 For consideration: nidai KANESADA added his mei very close to the nakago-mune, almost touching it. He kept doing so after changing his name into TERUKANE. reinhard Quote
