Sagami No Kami would not usually be an honorific applied to a retired priest, and theres no mistaking THAT name to which the honorific does legitimately apply. Blades by the man himself are rarer than rocking horse poo, so what are the chances? It would be interesting to know in any event what the provenance of this plaque and the associated sword was. If the shrines are flogging off their swords, it would be nice to know...... There are one or two I would't mind getting my hands on! :D I await the pics with great interest. As I am sure quite a few other board members do. Quote
