Yep, not the same blade. The seller is a member so perhaps he will notice and correct the mistake. Might have a few papers and pictured the wrong ones in the auction.

The Mekugiana closest to the munemachi seems in a different place relative to the shinogi on the nakago ?

The point is simpler. Compare the distances between the end of nakago and its nearest mekugiana.

At least the described blade lengths do match. But anyway they are not the same blade.

Blade and Koshirae are pairs.

Positions taking a photograph are different.:-)

Why don't the nakago pictured on the kantei-sho and the nakago on the sword as pictured match?

It was only the difference between the sword and the origami that we noticed, there was no query over the koshirae.

I am glad we were able to point out the mistake and allow it to be corrected so fast, for the users of eBay. :)
