Been an odd cup so far, lots of unexpected results. I'm not a huge fan, but it's big here. I had never heard a vuvu until about 3 months ago. Now I want to make someone eat one :lol:

Hi Brian,

 

I am stopping over the day in Paris before leaving again to SW of France in my family house for 2 weeks.

I have stopped watching soccer since '98 and have always preferred Rugby. As Juvenal said "Panem et Circenses", soccer being Circenses.

 

Sorry for Italy too. My only regret was that SA did not win against France 3-0.

 

 

Being ridiculous does not kill anymore or the plane bringing back the French team should have crashed ....

It's just as bloody maddening here, too; I did hear rumours that the BBC was working on a Vuvuzela-free transmission for the UK, but so far nothing more seems to have come of it. I especially loathe the way they keep bellowing with the idiotic things during the national anthems; you could hardly hear Kimi ga yo last night. Still, it didn't seem to bother the Blue Samurai too much! :D
