General construction looks good as long as it is not close-up. Tang and kissaki are wrong, hamon is clearly not real, fittings looks exceptionally good. That is my opinion only, of course. Mike

up to $650 already,.... man what a racket!!

 

Hamon looks very fake (even though it is irregular) .... bottom line for me is it is in Hong Kong... there or China and I don't even bother to click.

 

2nd he is keeping all of the bidders Private... presumanbly so no one can tip them off!!

 

There is a couple more in US and Australia selling junk as original too....

 

Also a guy in Japan, who looks to be selling genuine stuff, but has some interesting descriptions

Thanks fellas. I too had my doubts about the hamon. It looks too embellished almost like a fantasy blade. The colours on the fittings also don't look right to the eye, compared with genuine pieces I've seen. Too fresh and again embellished.

This thread is quite old. Please consider starting a new thread rather than reviving this one, unless your post is really relevant and adds to the topic..
