Anyone have any thoughts on this wakizashi mei?

I think its signed Heianjo Kunishige?

The sword is quite interesting with a Kanemoto style sanbonsugi hamon / midare komi boshi.

The mei is Heianjo Kunishige. Could be just the picture but it looks like the mei and yasurime are newer than the nakago. Is there a bit of the old yasurime left at the top of the current yasurime?

No sign of any old yasurimei. I've enclosed a photo of hamon to show the regular style of sanbonsugi. The sword is healthy and I think I can see some sunagashi on the peaks in places.

Maybe this is an unlisted smith or just a gimei....?

Anyone have any oshigata for Kunishige, Yamashiro, Edo 1781 (KUN1156) in Hawleys? Looks like a possibility but this smith isn't in any of my reference books.
