Bruno Posted May 22, 2010 Report Posted May 22, 2010 The 3 marks used to be on the fuchi, in this case they are not pictured. I have no doubt they are present and the sword guenine. Quote

jeeplover Posted May 23, 2010 Author Report Posted May 23, 2010 ya i asked wating for a response. but was just wondering if all nco swords had the three stamps on them or if there is a exception. i c that the model is a late war production. Quote
Bruno Posted May 23, 2010 Report Posted May 23, 2010 Not that late, I would say middle war production. Late war were those with wooden handle. I am pretty sure you'll see your marks if seller send you close up. About exception I do not know, but with gunto everything is possible! :D Quote
jeeplover Posted May 23, 2010 Author Report Posted May 23, 2010 ok asked seller and he said '' no markings at all this is a war time sword''. so i am confused cuz every example of the nco sword has had those three marks arsenal 'maker' inspection. Quote
miner1436 Posted May 24, 2010 Report Posted May 24, 2010 I think the swords produced mid-war with iron fuchi didn't have stamps. rich r. Quote

Well you did the right thing and asked some questions, now you need to do some research and find out for sure if some ncos came without stamps. Quote
