Is original blade? corresponds to period of WW2? me confuses signature on tang...it does correspond to correct Japanese writing? can someone have a picture with tang of this smith? k morita Posted April 9, 2010 Report Posted April 9, 2010 Hi, Yes ,original blade. Yes, around WW2 period. The signature says" Noshu ju IshiHara Yoshisada saku". Meaning is "Made by Ishihara(sure name)Yoshisada(art name ) in Noshu-province(Seki, Gifu prefecture)". Quote
