I believe 長国作 Nagakuni Saku. It has had some serious grinding done to the machi and area below on the nakago. We will need pics of the blade to try and determine to which school this smith may belong. John

Hi Alaen, The pictures and condition of this sword do not provide enough clues as to what school this may be from. Perhaps, you could examine and record the characteristics for us. At least we may be then able to point to a possible direction of inquiry. Sorry. John

Sorry to be blunt, but the nakago is trashed at the top, and the kissaki is badly reshaped, along with the other condition issues.

Doesn't matter if the smith was good...this one is never going to be more than a generic mediocre altered wakizashi. eBay find?
