Grey Doffin Posted February 19, 2010 Report Posted February 19, 2010 Nikoly, The other side is the date, "Showa Ju Ku Nen Ju Ichi Gatsu". Showa 19 year, 11 month. November of 1944. I don't think you will be able to learn anything about Fujifusa. Unless he was one the few important smiths who worked during WWII, nothing of his work has been recorded. Grey Quote
Nobody Posted February 19, 2010 Report Posted February 19, 2010 He appears in the following list. However, the reading for his name is wrongly written as Katsufusa. Ref. Seki Kaji Tosho http://home.earthlink.net/~ttstein/seki.htm Quote
nik_ua Posted February 19, 2010 Author Report Posted February 19, 2010 thank you Nobody and all Quote
David Flynn Posted February 19, 2010 Report Posted February 19, 2010 Most smiths who had either a showa or seki stamp were not fully qualified smiths and never took it back up post war. Quote
