Gunto Saya colors

Hey everyone! I’m relatively new to collecting but I’ve never seen gunto saya that is this color. Is the color authentic or have they been repainted possibly?

Both appear to be original examples, there was a rather wide range of colours used for Saya and that sort of red (akin to Azuki - red bean) is seen now and again.

The color is not odd but personally, I doubt if the paint is original. The paint job is very poor. Could you please post some better quality photos?
