That's kind of it. I know fuji5005 has a dubious reputation with his auctions, but one of the blades in his selection has recently caught my eye. Any way to purchase from overseas? This could be through a broker or any other method. I appreciate your insight!

Thank you so much!

Use the normal methods - Paul Kremers or Bob Hughes or Kelly Schmidt as intermediaries.

Which one do you recommend for this? I know Kelly's not processed blades in a while. Also, how do I contact them? Thank you, Gakusee!

Edit: Nevermind, just sent an email to Paul Kremers.

I have had some interaction with Robert Hughes and would recommend him (and his spouse) highly. They are in Kamakura.

Spoke with him. He recommended I abstain from this auction, as for smiths like Kuniyuki and the like, it is better to handle the sword in-person for an inspection. He's absolutely right, so I will instead wait for any local events (around the Philadelphia area) and look for some nice Heian/Kamakura blades (Rai and Ko-Hoki are my personal favorites, but fine pieces from side schools are also incredible).

Sorry that this turned out to be a big waste of time for you guys.
