JRB387 Posted March 23 Report Posted March 23 Hello Everyone, I’m trying to find some more info on this sword. It looks like the signature says “Kaneyoshi”, but beyond that I don’t know much. Does anyone know anything about this sword. Quote
Ray Singer Posted March 23 Report Posted March 23 As you said, the mei is Kaneyoshi. In the future, I would recommend posting a clear, straight-on, vertical photo of the tang (nakago). That will help with readability and assessment. There were several generations in Mino from late Muromachi (Sue-Seki) through shinshinto times. Quote
Scogg Posted March 23 Report Posted March 23 Hi @JRB387 Vertical like the photo below, with tip (kissaki) north and tang (nakago) south. Best of luck, -Sam Quote
