Tori or koshi zori?

Trying to figure out if this looks more like tori-zori or Koshi-sori ? Its a deep 3cm sori with a 83cm Nagasa.

Tori.  Take a piece of string and run it from the bottom of the Nakago to the tip of the Kissaki.   This will show where the centre of the curve is.

Thanks! The naked blade seemed tori zori to me but the mounted picture seemed like a koshi zori

You can't go by the Koshirae.  I've seen Koshirae  where the Tsuka has a very pronounce curve, but the Nakago doesn't.

Dear Jeremy.

 

David is spot on with advice about not judging sori from the koshirae, after all it is a description of a feature of the sugata of the blade.  I have a wakizashi where the habaki is made in such a way that when mounted the sword looks like koshizori but on its own it is clearly not.

Run it from the mune machi to the tip of the kissaki. Personally i would say torii sori
