Ambitious, at this price level Juyo papers would definitely help matters, otherwise I don't know how hot the interest will be.

But that's one of the better if not among the top tier of Muromasa's. Bright, vivid jigane with ji nie and ara nie, strong hamon, absolutely classic Muromasa style.

Where does this one fit? Not quite the archetypical Muramasa with the pregnant fish nakago shape.

Why is the koshirae being sold separately? Is this a common practice on higher end pieces? Or is it saying that the high bidder will beed to pay an additional 100KY to obtain the koshirae as well?

I think most of items in Aoi auctions end without any bids and the items will be in the inventory of their regular site.

Yes. When an Aoi Art auction ends without bids, the item becomes available for order at the same price as the starting bid.
