One of two triptychs I picked up online for a fraction of what they would go for in the States.

These were printed in 1904 and show a Red Cross station of the Imperial Japanese Army tending to both their own wounded and - interestingly - those of the Russian enemy.
It is sad to note that, three decades later, the same army would become infamous for its treatment of POWs.

Dee:

If you are into that era, this is a nice photographic book (not this copy, necessarily!). I have this book as well as the corresponding stereoscopic view cards that show quite a few pictures of everyday life in the Japanese army camps. The book is large format with pics that would display nicely.
