Did you put it back in the original scabbard after polish or had a new one made? "Worth it?" That is the eternal question, but it is only answered by you. If you are a buyer/seller, then at today's prices, you'll lose money. But if it's your sword to care for? You bet it's worth it. I really hesitated on the decision to polish mine. Do I keep it in the "life of the blade" condition, with all it's obvious use, wear, scratches, age? Or do I make it beautiful? Both cases have merit. I chose to polish, and quite glad I did. All the rest of my swords are in the condition I got them, though. 1 Quote
Swords Posted Thursday at 03:53 PM Author Report Posted Thursday at 03:53 PM I see what you mean I may only need a Finnish polish that would save more money But I believe it’s a rare sword and is worth it to me I didn’t mean to bring this up where everyone will see my discussion Now I bet i get a lot of criticism I already got 2 down votes when I asked what you spent on your sword Steve 1 Quote
