look like a yariganna,a Japanese woodworking tool used to plane surfaces.

.....Some sort of weapon was what I was thinking at first as it does look like a yari. I once bought a new replacement blade for a kozuka from a Japanese seller and he said that his family used to make weapons but now mostly makes tools, same basic methods with some slight differences.
