Hello all,

I am hoping to gain some understanding of this origami which accompanied a tsuba I bought some time ago.  I am particularly interested in the handwritten notes.  Please find images attached, and as always my apologies for my still rudimentary photographic skills.

Lucian,

what if we had only rudimentary reading skills of images out of focus? Please be so polite as to post nicely focused photos so we could help you with a translation!

琴桂(?)透鐔 – Kotoji sukashi tsuba

鉄地 丸形 小透 – Iron, round shape, open work

銘 武州住知 Mei: Bushu ju Tomoyasu (reading?)

The handwritings on the envelope are the same information.

Kotoji is usually written as 琴柱. I do not know if it is common to use instead of .
