PBK816 Posted January 12 Report Posted January 12 Bought this at a garage sale. What does it say? Is it an antique? 1 Quote
Ray Singer Posted January 12 Report Posted January 12 Yoshimasa. This appears to be a WWII era Seki blade. A showato arsenal blade, not traditionally made. 4 Quote
Bruce Pennington Posted January 12 Report Posted January 12 Can we see the rest of the blade and fittings? Partial Showa stamp at top. Puts the blade in the 1935-1942 range, with most of them made in 1940-41. I only have 5 of his blades on file, and one is dated Feb 1941. 1 Quote
Stephen Posted January 12 Report Posted January 12 Nice that you can still find swords at garage sales, may I ask you what you paid for it? Quote
