Mario, The mei reads OKADA KANESADA SAKU. I have one here I've just catalogued for a friend's auction house. Put the mei in quotes into google and you'll find all there is to know. BRUNROX Posted January 25, 2010 Author Report Posted January 25, 2010 Much Thanks, Kanezumi or Kanesada... , the kanji still leaves some doubt as to which one it is for certain. Thanks again Greg, Stephen and Barry. This blade is going up on E-Bay and just wanted to get a little more info on the smith. If you fellow members don't mind I would like to post this information on the listing, and 5% of selling price will go to NMB. If it sells...Best Regards, Mario P. Quote
Roger Wildcat Posted January 25, 2010 Report Posted January 25, 2010 They generally sell well on ebay, only those that place high starting bid requirement tend to have difficulty selling them. Gunto usually sell for 500 on up depending on condition and numbers of pictures posted. Quote
Nobody Posted January 26, 2010 Report Posted January 26, 2010 Much Thanks, Kanezumi or Kanesada... , the kanji still leaves some doubt as to which one it is for certain. .......... I thought that the reading was already concluded to be Kanesada (岡田兼定 - Okada Kanesada). Quote
