NewB Posted December 19, 2024 Report Posted December 19, 2024 Hola christmas deal 28 1/4” nagasa. Healthy and in great polish barring one 6” superficial surface scratch above the shinogi. No other cosmetic flaws whatsoever. Outstanding study piece attributed to later generation Kanemoto which has been questioned by the majority of the experts in the field in the US and few of my friends who are dealing from Japan, stating more similar to Kanenobu. Be it as it may I’m giving it away as Kanemoto. Outstanding ji nie throughout but extremely dense in the monouchi area, outstanding hamon and good boshi! i think $2000 is more than reasonable for such a long blade (28 1/4” after suriage) plus overnight shipping accepting most payment methods. thank you p.s will provide detailed measurements later on today/tonight. Selling to fund my medical intervention. y https://photos.app.g...gl/z8zj9Gmqje72TYuA7 3 Quote
Stephen Posted December 20, 2024 Report Posted December 20, 2024 Not bad, if there was a starter blade I would think this could be one. Tons of study time there. 1 Quote

I have seen considerably inferior blades sell for $1300. Why is this one not worthy the price considering its nagasa and jitetsu? nobody buying blades anymore, just papers/numbers it seems oh well y Quote
GeorgeLuucas Posted December 20, 2024 Report Posted December 20, 2024 This is really a killer deal, and I am amazed it has not yet sold. Someone better buy this before my willpower subsides Really nice looking sword, -Sam 1 Quote

Natichu Posted December 28, 2024 Report Posted December 28, 2024 I'd never turn down free, and it does look like a lovely blade. So let me know if you're giving it away to clear out space Otherwise unfortunately I'm holding funds for an option along another line, but have to say if I wasn't trying to be quite so particular I would have messaged already! 1 Quote
Natichu Posted December 28, 2024 Report Posted December 28, 2024 Any chance we could get measurements for the motohaba, sakihaba, and kasane? Quote

dimitri Posted December 28, 2024 Report Posted December 28, 2024 It is really very beautiful, unfortunately being in Europe, as usual the taxes will weigh down the bill. It's really a shame. Could you give us his sori also please? Quote

Thank you as I mentioned I’m originally from there. I still ship items to family and friends and they do not pay those taxes. I’m not going to disclose how but there are legal technicalities to avoid that. with that said - $1600 thank you again y Quote
