Opinions on this unusual Tsuba

I took a screenshot of this Tsuba while browsing the Victoria & Albert website some time ago. I would have posted the link but I cannot find it on the site now, it sort of disappeared. 

Does anyone have an opinion or information on it?   I am very much a novice but if I had to guess I would say it is modern, after 1900?  It reminds me of lantern glow.

It's down as Kaga, but no other details.

May be Hirata school gloisonne` enamel work.

Design sun, moon, stars ??. The whole tsuba could be an overhelming design.

Thanks to John and Peter,  it looks like gold and tarnished silver inlay to me.   I intend to attempt a copy of this one.
