KungFooey Posted December 9 Report Posted December 9 Hi all, Because of me buying my very first Japanese sword I want to find out more about its period in history. 😊 So, does anyone know of any Japanese books on Kanbun Shinto swords? (I have a Japanese friend who's offered to help me out with translation.) Thanks again! Dee Quote

Especially the part that says "However, from about 30 years ago, people began to classify Shinto shapes as 1) Keicho Shinto, work from around the Kanei to Shoho periods, 2) Kanbun Shinto, and 3) work from around the Jokyo to the Genroku period." Thankyou! Dee 1 Quote
