Mark Posted Saturday at 06:39 PM Report Posted Saturday at 06:39 PM hard to say age. It does not look gendai. The file marks are strange, almost looks like they were removed under the mei, i can see them in areas of the nakago. I would say exercise caution. If you are buying wait to see the blade, if helping someone they should be careful wish you the best for a speedy recovery Quote

Bazza Posted yesterday at 09:56 AM Report Posted yesterday at 09:56 AM Aaaaagh, MAAAATE, so sorry to hear of your pain trip. If it helps, a week ago I spent 2 1/2 hours in local dentist's chair having an upper back molar extracted, only to hear her say "I'm sorry, but I'll have to refer you to an oral surgeon". 3/4 hour next day in the oral surgeon's chair... The only 'consolation' is that it was the same oral surgeon who took out my eldest daughter's impacted wisdom tooth. Now, nine days after the surgery, still the slightest pink in the first morning spit!!! Oh, Brian, I grieve for you and I expect the entire NMB populace is wincing in sympathy pain, as we do for all our Brethren who fall foul to Mother Nature's mercies... Get well soon mate... BaZZa. 4 Quote
Gilles Posted yesterday at 10:38 AM Report Posted yesterday at 10:38 AM Take care Brian. Getting old is not simple, I feel it everyday. The nakago and mei seems to be like one from the Meiji era, narrow nakago, big kanji....... 1 1 Quote
