Ron M Posted November 6 Report Posted November 6 This sword was purchased as an unseen Kai Gunto, high quality koshirae (the Tsuka is out for re-wrap) so will post pics later. The interesting part isn’t just the actual blade and hamon with tobiyaki, but the Chippy Mei that the Gunto swords seem to have. Signed Kanetada, who is listed in Sesko it seems. I like to joke and say it was his disabled brother who signed it for him 🤣 It also appears to be ubuha, although a Bubba tried to sharpen it sometime in the past. Quote
ROKUJURO Posted November 6 Report Posted November 6 Ron, this is the NIHONTO section. You probably wanted to post in the MILITARY section? Quote
