lonely panet Posted November 6 Report Posted November 6 Hi guys. Keep a eye out for these two. Stolen aka lost by Australia post employees on Monday. Police report will be filed tomorrow. Full tracking and signature on delivery and insurance. But still not enough these days 1 3 Quote
Spartancrest Posted November 6 Report Posted November 6 I presume it was this auction site? https://page.auction.../auction/e1157163192 or https://www.jauce.com/auction/e1157163192 Also seen on an old Christie's auction blurry image so it may not be the same guard? So the problem is they have gone missing here in Australia - that is unusual - lets just hope they may turn up a little later. I will keep my eyes open. 1 Quote
lonely panet Posted November 6 Author Report Posted November 6 They where received into my local post office. This is acknowledged by them. The pufff missing. And yes same tsuba Quote
Steves87 Posted November 6 Report Posted November 6 Noted, I'll be on the look-out... I can't imagine they could sell it easily here though... between me and Dale scouring the very small local market, it would be hard for anything to slip through. I had a Namban guard go missing earlier in the year (West Aus), I paid through ebay with PayPal so I was fully refunded... but I suspect that the seller actually sent it to the wrong address. Quote
lonely panet Posted November 6 Author Report Posted November 6 thats one thing about paypal, they have fees but they cover you incase of theift Quote
Kunehito Posted November 6 Report Posted November 6 I will follow the post in case it shows up somewhere later. Had the Tsuba on my view for a while so I might recognize it. — offtopic: I had several several similar cases here in France. The delivery driver even signed himself with my name and a fake signature. After filing an official complaint the items were delivered by another driver same day. All this looked very suspicious to me. I suspect him to make money with the cases in which people dont complain. Or personel situation forces them to trick their System to manipulate performance e.g. „delivered in time“ 1 1 Quote
Spartancrest Posted November 7 Report Posted November 7 I would check for any similar address - I live in "Cherry Grove" but some items of mine were actually delivered to "Cherry Hill Drive" which is in the same suburb. Postie only read the "Cherry" bit! Quote

PNSSHOGUN Posted November 7 Report Posted November 7 Sounds like some real dunderheads in your post office, hopefully turning up the heat like that smartens them up in the future. 1 Quote
Kunehito Posted November 7 Report Posted November 7 sounds familiar with my reported cases. Enjoy the Tsuba and close this case Quote

The Tosa struck me as an exceptional example (I'm partial to the theme), and I am glad to hear both were recovered. Quote
lonely panet Posted Monday at 08:40 PM Author Report Posted Monday at 08:40 PM Hi Curran, yes the Tosa work imho is gem, 2nd Gen signed TOSA KUNI JI MYOCHIN KINO TOSHIO. the filled hitsu ana are odd but very pleasing. this is technically and study and release piece, to fund my akasaka fetish but honestly i think it surpasses akasaka in some aspects. its thick too 6.75mm. ill pm you curran soon.
