Brian Posted October 14, 2024 Report Posted October 14, 2024 I'm waiting with anticipation to hear if we are going to SHOT in Jan. Would be wild to do another US show. Then again, not sure I can afford it, and really trying to put some money away to go to Japan next year. Hmmm 2 Quote
GeorgeLuucas Posted October 16, 2024 Report Posted October 16, 2024 I will be in attendance. Already got my flight . Haven't been to Vegas since before I could legally have a drink I would love to meet more fellow forum members! It should be a good show, and I am very much looking forward to checking out the Antique Arms Show also. Mark S. Posted October 16, 2024 Report Posted October 16, 2024 Sad to say I will not be in attendance this year. Went last 2 years. Hope everyone has a great show… I KNOW you will! I’ll see some of you in Chicago in April. Quote
Mark Posted December 3, 2024 Author Report Posted December 3, 2024 DTI is over, U.S. Holiday week over........ So now is a good time to think about the 2025 show season. If anyone has questions about the show contact me privately or post them here. I can add tables as the sword section can be expanded as needed. The tables ate 8' (not 6' as at most sword shows). If someone wants 1/2 a table let me know I am looking forward to seeing a lot of friends at the show. It is a great place to hunt swords, there are 1500 tables in the whole show (sword area is just a section) so there are usually a number or swords on tables other than the sword section. https://www.vegasswordshow.com/ thanks for looking Mark 3 Quote
Stephen Posted December 3, 2024 Report Posted December 3, 2024 Would one be able to sell guns, thinking of selling my collection. Quote

Unless you're a FFL (Federal Firearms License dealer), I don't believe you can sell firearms out of state to individuals unless they are old antiques (which requires a different license called a Curio and Relic license and applies to firearms older than 50 years). You could sell your guns to a FFL but not to other people at the show who aren't FFL holders. You might be able to sell older antique firearms out of state to a Curio and Relic license holder but I don't know on that one. It seems like there is some state by state rules on that that I'm not aware of. Quote
Mark Posted December 3, 2024 Author Report Posted December 3, 2024 it is an antique arms show so the majority or items for sale are firearms. Yes you can sell guns (abiding by laws). If you have Japanese matchlocks or swords and a few guns you might want to be in the Japanese sword section, if you are just going to have a table for non Japanese guns you might do better in the gun area. I can refer you to the person dealing with gun sale tables if needed. let me know what works. it is one of the biggest shows so a good outlet for sales Quote
Stephen Posted December 3, 2024 Report Posted December 3, 2024 Thanks guys ill check into it. Probably just a pipe dream, I let my curio laps years ago couldn't keep up with the ever-changing red tape. Quote
